Christmas Lights Competition
December
The area is famous for its dedication to Christmas lights displays, which Camden Council recognises and encourages with a competition. Get amongst it by decorating your own home, and then drive around and soak in the bright displays that are sure to bring smiles and festive cheer.
Jacaranda Festival
Saturday 24 November
Day two of the three day event will feature the lighting up of Camden’s Christmas Tree, the announcement of the winner of the Mayoral Christmas Card Competition, the lighting of the Jacarandas in Argyle Street, a series of market stalls, performances by local children and professional musicians, fireworks, buskers and street performers.
Carols in the Park
Saturday 8 December
A splendid night of carols with face painting and other kids’ amusements, capped off with a fireworks display. Held on the corner of Camden Road and Hurley Street in Campbelltown.
Carols in the Garden
Saturday 15 December
Held in the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, Carols in the Garden kicks off with a pre-carols stage program before the main event at 7pm. It is ideal for families, singles and friends young and old, promising to be a night to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Believe – A magical Christmas experience
Saturday 22 December
The best childhood expression of Christmas – a buffet breakfast, range of children’s activities and a meet and greet with Santa himself. Held at The Cube in Campbelltown, the day is capped off with a gift for all children.
