In Honour of lady Mary Fairfax, Catherine Park estate will host our first annual gardening competition. Sharpen your tools and pull up those boots it’s time to show off your new garden, and take your share is over $1000 worth of prices.

The competition will commence on the 1st of November all entrants must be registered by the 30th of November. The Winners will be announced on the 6th of December at the annual Christmas event.

Waking up in the morning buried under layers of blankets is a harsh reminder that you are caught up in winter’s cold embrace. During these months you embrace hearty comfort food, staying indoors, and getting home as soon as you possibly can after work. A little depressing, right?

The early October transition into the daylight savings period is one of the most joyous times of the year, when we can come home after work and school and enjoy outdoor activities for longer before the sun goes down and the moon comes up.

With warmer weather upon us, there’s no better time than now to head outdoors and fulfil your Springtime resolution to exercise more. You couldn’t live in a better place than Catherine Park Estate to get outdoors and move your body. Over winter we’ve been busy installing new outdoor exercise equipment at Catherine Park Oval, alongside the children’s play area.

Why not go for a walk or run on our many purpose-built paths and incorporate a workout on the new outdoor equipment? Or you might prefer a bike ride on our extensive bike paths, followed by an outdoor workout.
